The Fort Worth Haiku Society hosted the Haiku Society of America quarterly meeting on March 14-16, 2008. Special thanks to FWHS members Cliff T. Roberts, Brenda Roberts, Robin Polizzi, Shirley Crow, David Crow, and Christi Davenport for making us feel welcome and for making the meeting a success!

LilaF > FWHS members Christi Davenport and David Crow. Later in the meeting, David suggested that we give an haiku presentation at a Japanese animation conference -- as an outreach activity. Over 6000 people attended the last such conference he attended.

David brought samples of Pocky--a Japanese snack food that is like a chocolate-covered pretzel, only better.
