The
Fort Worth Haiku Society hosted the
Haiku Society of America quarterly meeting on March 14-16, 2008. Special thanks to FWHS members Cliff T. Roberts, Brenda Roberts, Robin Polizzi, Shirley Crow, David Crow, and Christi Davenport for making us feel welcome and for making the meeting a success!

Helen Jones begins her presentation about ways to revisit and revise the original experience in a haiku, so that we don't keep writing the same haiku over and over (!) She was inspired by one of her favorite poems, "Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird," by Wallace Stevens.
